The History of Donate a Diwali
A free and customized program based on Diwali Diversity Celebration for schools/daycare/activity centers to bring in more light in lives of students, teachers and the school diaspora. One in every six individuals in the world space are diverse to one another. How and when we introduce diversity to our children is how fast they understand and respect different communities and cultures. It is a great way to embrace diversity and promote universal world cultures. The program is free of charge and any/all donations are offered to a non-profit in India which works with homeless children. We have donors who sponsor this program and we can connect them to the school for future donations and fundraisers.
Today's Update
It’s a 45 minute celebration on school ground with a Diwali backdrop, Diwali items to showcase during a Diwali story time, a book reading for all age groups setting, followed by Diwali breathe and greet - yoga and namaste, a Diwali video is played and ending in a high note of Diwali music and movement, a bollywood instructor led interactive dance with kids & teachers wrapped with Diwali class photos. Due to the pandemic Covid 19, this program is on hold and will resume with Covid precautions
